Keanu Reeves gushed over girlfriend Alexandra Grant on date night at Sonic 3 premiere

The actor walked the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of his new animated film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 at the TCL Chinese Theatre with his sweetheart of five years on Monday, December 16.

The Matrix actor rocked an all-black suit while his 51-year-old girlfriend donned a black gown with silver color detailing and completed her look by carrying a silver clutch.

Reeves, who is the voice behind the villain shadow in his new film, spoke to Entertainment Tonight, gushing over the night out with his accomplished visual artist beau.

"We got dolled up and it was very exciting and just kind of nerve-wracking in the car, getting out," he told the outlet.

The actor and musician went on to say, "It's really special to be side by side."

Moreover, he raved about seeing Grant all dolled up for the premiere, Reeves said, "The heart just opens."

It is pertinent to mention that the couple, who have known each other as friends and collaborators for years, started dating back in 2019.
