Prince Harry has hopes that he would someday be reunited with his father King Charles and the rest of the Royal family despite this year’s Christmas snub.

According to a latest report, the Duke of Sussex feels "cautiously optimistic" about the possibility of reconciling with the Royals.

Speaking with Heat Magazine, a source revealed that Harry still maintains an “open line” of communication with his sister-in-law Kate Middleton, which is why he is hopeful of the future reconciliation.

However, his wife Meghan Markle has taken the monarch’s Christmas snub to heart as she feels it was “incredibly demeaning” of him not to invite them to the annual bash at Sandringham.

“Harry recognises and accepts that brokering peace with his family is a slow burn, but he feels cautiously optimistic about what the future holds,” the source said.

The insider said Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s father is “ending the year with a glass-half-full outlook, especially as he still has an open line to Kate.”

“But from Meghan’s point of view, it’s incredibly demeaning that they haven’t been formally invited to the UK for Christmas.

“There’s been virtually zero attempt by the royals to mend fences or welcome them back into the fold and that really stings.”
