Prince Harry has been told he still has a long way to go to seek the forgiveness of King Charles and the members of the Royal family following his scathing criticism of key figures.
According to a Royal expert, Harry’s disparaging remarks about Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton in his bombshell memoir Spare have become a hurdle in his way to reconciliation with Royals.
In his autobiography, Harry, the Duke of Sussex, dubbed Camilla the "wicked stepmother" and alleged that Kate left Meghan Markle "sobbing on the floor" over a bridesmaid dress dispute.
As per The Sun, royal expert Arthur Edwards said that the chances for the Duke of Sussex of being "easily forgiven" by the royal family and the public are now slim.
"Of course he can come back, even the Duke of Windsor, who was in exile, did come back, more and more, without Wallis,” author Andrew Lownie explained while speaking with the publication.
However, Edwards was of the opinion that "Harry can do nothing right at the moment and whatever he says is interpreted as some way or another."
"Ever since he left this country, the split has become huge between the Royal Family here and him, and us and him, and the media and him. It is mainly because he rubbished the Royal Family.
"You can't rubbish the King's wife, Camilla, and expect to be easily forgiven, you can't rubbish William's wife and be easily forgiven."
