Inside Nicole Threatt's messy divorce from rapper Dr. Dre

Nicole Threatt officially parted ways with rapper Dr. Dre in 2021 after 25 years of marriage. The couple's divorce is considered one of the messiest in Hollywood history.

In 2020, Nicole made headlines when she filed for divorce from the Bang band hitmaker. Shortly after, reports came that the latter sought $2 million monthly in spousal support.

She also accused him of abuse and listed irreconcilable differences on the divorce paperwork as the reason for their split.

Although she was trying to get a specific amount of money, a judge ruled against her in October 2020.

The judge ordered the musician to pay his soon-to-be ex $293,306 per month in spousal support.

“[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021,” court documents read.

For those unversed, Nicole married Dr. in 1996 and welcomed two children with the rapper—son Truice in 1997 and daughter Truly in 2001.
