Saoirse Ronan recalls moment she knew Jack Lowden was the one

Believe it or not, food was the factor that made Saoirse Ronan sure about husband Jack Lowden.

Ronan recalled the moment she knew Jack was the one, and it was while she was eating, and he looked lovingly at her.

The Outrun star appeared on Ruthie's Table 4 podcast and joked that if it hadn’t been for Jack’s admiration of her appetite, he may not have been “the one.”

Recalling the sweet moment, saying, “I was eating a burger and I was like, "What are you looking at?".

“He said, ‘I'm watching you eat that because you're getting so much out of it.’ That was when I knew.”

Saoirse and Jack tied the knot secretly in July this year after six years together. The actress recently opened up about having kids.

The Blitz star told British Vogue: “I became successful when I was quite young. So it meant that, actually, by the time I found my partner, I’m now at the stage where, if it happened, I would like to have a kid.”

“I feel fortunate enough that, if I step out of this for a minute, I’m hopefully not giving it up forever. But, yeah, I’ve always wanted that.”

Saoirse Ronan met Jack Lowden while filming Mary Queen Of Scots, where she played the titular role and her now-husband played the Queen’s second husband Lord Darnley.
