Inside Britney Spears' 'much happier' year after Sam Asghari divorce

A year ago, Britney Spears finalized divorce with Sam Asghari. Now, the singer has a lot going on for her, especially as her relationship with her kids Jayden and Sean Preston seem to be repairing.

Spears shares her sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline and has been estranged from them since the summer of 2022, after which they moved to Hawaii with their father.

However, recently reports emerged that the Gimme More hitmaker has gotten in touch with Jayden, and is on her way to reconnecting with Preston as well.

Now, a source has tattled to Us Weekly about the Princess of Pop’s current life, saying, “In many ways, Britney seems much happier than she was last year.”

According to a tipster, it was her son that initiated contact with the singer: “He’s open to mending the relationship with his mom and seeing where things go. Britney was very excited to hear from him; [it] means everything to her.”

“It’ll take time. Britney hopes to continue spending time with Jayden and that Preston comes around. She cares deeply about her sons,” added the source.

Another source revealed: “They’ve been getting along great. Britney’s convinced they’ll have a flourishing relationship in the near future. It’s all she ever talks about. She would love a second chance with them.”

Britney Spears lost custody of her sons Jayden and Sean Preston in 2008 after locking herself in a bathroom with Jayden.
