Jamie Lee Curtis marks major milestone with husband Christopher Guest

Jamie Lee Curtis celebrated four decades of her marriage with her husband Christopher Guest.

The 66-year-old actress took to her official Instagram account on Wednesday, December 18, to mark her and Guest's 40th wedidng anniversary with a heartwarming post.

In the celebratory post, the Last Showgirl actress shared throwback pictures from their special day back in 1984.

"40 years ago today, on a rainy Tuesday afternoon at 4:30, Christopher and I married," she began her sweet tribute.

Expressing her love and admiration for their relationship, Curtis continued, "We loved each other but barely knew each other. Today, we know each other really well and still love each other."

Moreover, Curtis noted that she and her husband had "been through a lot and have raised and loved two beautiful daughters and started many new careers and weathered the myriad storms of life on life's terms of loving and loss."

"We held hands that day as we walked back down the aisle and we're still holding hands today. I guess the beginning of 'my hand in yours.' The long and winding road," she concluded with a touching note.

It is pertinent to mention that the couple are parents to two children, daughters Annie, 38, and Ruby, 28.
