Kanye West finally 'gives attention' to his legal woes

In the wake of over a dozen lawsuits, Kanye West was without a lawyer after he fired his last attorney. Now, he has finally addressed his legal problem by hiring legal representation.

According to The U.S. Sun, Ye seemed to have ignored his legal woes by not appearing for depositions and reportedly adopting a carefree attitude toward most of the lawsuits.

The cases against the Power hitmaker ranged from sexually abusing former employees to failed business partnerships.

Last month, a judge threatened a default judgment in favour of an ex-Donda employee because the Grammy winner had no legal representation.

His attorney, Manoj Shah, who doesn't specialize in civil litigation, asked for more time.

"We are trying in vain to retain counsel," he told Judge Christopher Lui. "We are interviewing several firms. For one reason or another, it has failed to work out. Our goal is to have counsel and participate in the defense."

It came after Kanye fired several lawyers, who reportedly denied them their fees.
