'Yellowstone' star Luke Grimes reveals silence with Kevin Costner amid exit tension

Following the speculation of tensions with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, Luke Grimes, who played the role of the on-screen son of Kevin Costner in the series, revealed that he has not spoken to Kevin since his abrupt exit.

In a recent chat with Men's Health, Luke was inquired if he is still in touch with his Yellowstone former costar, who played the role of patriarch John Dutton.

In response, Luke noted that has no contact with Costner, however reassuring that there are no hard feelings between them after his exit from the series.

"No, I haven't talked to him since. It's not a case of any hard feelings or anything; its just, he's Kevin Costner," Luke told the outlet jokingly.

While gushing over Costner being a "big" celeb, he noted, "He's a big deal. I do have his phone number - I just don't feel like it's my place to reach out. He can reach out to me if he wants."

It is pertinent to mention that Costner left the series due to clashing schedules with his Western movie franchise Horizon.

Luke further noted that "none of us saw it coming the way it did, and obviously there was news about possible blowups behind the scenes or whatever. But just like in life, man, these things happen, they happen fast, and they're not predictable."
