Princess Beatrice would step up for her father, Prince Andrew, as he pulls out of Royal Christmas celebrations.

The Duke of York, who has decided to stay away from the Royals amid his association the a Chinese spy, might enjoy the holiday with his elder daughter and ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, at the Royal Lodge.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward tells Daily Telegraph: "Somehow or other, I think that Fergie and Andrew will be with Beatrice, Edo and the kids, either at Royal Lodge or the in-laws.

"She is very close to her father and will want to support him and be with him at this time

She then predicted a party of their own organised by the Yorks

“I cannot possibly see Fergie sitting alone at Royal Lodge," reports Surrey Live.

Ms Seward then stated: "She has lots of friends and family and would want to be with them. Andrew possibly wouldn't mind. He would sit there in front of the TV, but Sarah would organise something with Beatrice."
