Drew Barrymore's reaction on finding 'old lunch' in her coat pocket

Drew Barrymore had a shocking realisation when she sensed something unusual in her pocket.

The daytime talk show host, 49, took to Instagram on Monday to share a laugh with her fans over discovering her old smelly sandwich in the pocket of her coat.

The clip shows Barrymore sitting at a counter reading a magazine and wearing a navy peacoat and striped knit beanie. "Oh my god, I forgot it!" Barrymore squeals in disgust after reaching into her pocket and pulling out a sandwich.

"Ugh!" she let out in disgust after taking a whiff and scrunching up her face at the smell.

"Do you ever just find an old lunch in your pocket? I did! @debraferullomakeup, I’m sorry you had to witness this," she captioned the post, tagging her makeup artist Debra Ferullo.

Barrymore did not go into details about the sandwich and quickly disposed of the smelly scraps.

The Drew Barrymore Show host announced her retirement from acting in 2021.

"I don't want to be on a film set right now, but that could change when my kids are older," she previously explained on SiriusXM's Radio Andy.
