Prince Andrew honours Sarah Ferguson with latest move

Prince Andrew has apparently honoured his former wife Sarah Ferguson with his latest decision.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Andrew has pulled out of pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace amid the 'spy' scandal.

The report claims the Duke of York will not join Royal Family after speaking to ex-wife Sarah Ferguson who 'advised him not to attend.'

Andrew’s decision will be a relief to his brother King Charles amid the ongoing furore over Andrew's relationship with alleged spy.

The outlet, citing the insiders, has reported that Princess Eugenie and Beatrice mother has persuaded Andrew not to attend.

The duke will also not attend the royal family's Christmas celebrations at Sandringham next week.

Sarah and Andrew, who have been dubbed “the best divorced couple” by Jane Ferguson, are set to spend Christmas Day isolated at their Royal Lodge at Windsor.

Earlier, the friends had claimed that Sarah was indeed instrumental in Andrew’s decision not to join royals for Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.

The report further claims there had been serious concern Andrew’s presence would put King Charles in an 'invidious' position given the furore over his brother’s links with alleged spy.
