Summer Duncan opens up about first meeting with hubby Jon Pardi

Summer Duncan has finally revealed how she met her husband, Jon Pardi.

In an interview with People magazine, the professional hairdresser shared that she first met with the singer in 2017 through a friend of his mother, who was also one of Summer's clients.

"Long story short, Jon's mom sent him my number," Summer told the outlet.

She continued, “He was performing in my hometown, and he called me and invited me to the show. I was in Las Vegas so I said, 'Maybe next time you’re in town.' Obviously, I wasn't aware of how tour life worked so he came back with, 'How about I fly you to Denver next week?' ”

Although she had reservations about meeting Jon, the two immediately felt a strong connection.

“Summer was love at first sight for the first time ever in my life," said Jon.

"She was the first girl I've ever dated where I felt like she had my back and that we really are a team,” added the Dirt on My Boots hitmaker.

For those unversed, Summer married Jon in 2020, and the couple has two daughters, Presley Fawn and Sienna Grace.
