Sarah Ferguson opened up about her close bond with Queen Camilla despite being friends with the late Princess Diana.

Ferguson, who was a close friend of the former Princess of Wales from the age of 14, has surprisingly become pals with Camilla, who had an affair with then-Prince Charles while he was married to Diana.

The Duchess of York heaped praises on Camilla for her support for the country drew comparisons between the Queen and her own mother.

Despite her loyalty to Diana, Ferguson expressed her willingness to help Camilla and the royal family during recent interview.

“Queen Camilla was close friends with mom, which is why we’re so close now," Ferguson told The Times. "But Diana was my best friend from the age of 14."

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife added, "That’s why it’s so big that the Queen and I get on now. It’s rather nice, and she reminds me of Mom. I admire the extraordinary support she’s giving this country."

"I want to do as much for the Queen as possible," Ferguson admitted. “I wish they’d ask me to do more."
