Timothée Chalamet gets big surprise at his film screening

Timothée Chalamet is a big fan of Tom Cruise, so the megastar found the best time to surprise him: at the screening of A Complete Unknown.

At the Ham Yard Hotel, the Top Gun star was snapped shaking hands with the Dune actor, to whom he previously wrote an "inspiring email."

Both top stars appeared dapper as they posed with the rest of the cast, including Monica Barbaro, Elle Fanning, and filmmaker James Mangold.

Regarding the email, Tom has been a long-time supporter of Timothée as an actor. In it, he gave him valuable tips about acting.

"After I met Tom Cruise, right after finishing the first Dune, he sent me the most wonderfully inspiring email," he told GQ magazine after he finished working on Dune: Part One.

"He basically said, in Old Hollywood, you would be getting dance training and fight training, and nobody is going to hold you to that standard today. So it's up to you. The email was really like a war cry," he concluded.
