Billie Eilish marks major milestone with surprise acoustic track

Billie Eilish just shared the acoustic version of her track, L’AMOUR DE MA VIE.

As the 23-year-old artist continues to receive lots of praise for her latest album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, that was released on May 17, 2024, she bagged the honour of Apple Music’s 2024 Artist of the Year, a title only she has received twice.

While 2024 comes to an end, Eilish made sure to wrap up the year for the platform in an entrancing way, by performing an acoustic version of her album’s track, L’AMOUR DE MA VIE, that was aired exclusively on the platform.

Additionally, the Ocean Eyes singer also reflected on her year of artistry and the crucial aspects she dealt with.

While talking to Apple Music’s Nadeska Alexis, in a Q&A, speaking of HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, Eilish stated, “Honestly, I feel the most proud of this album, like more than anything I’ve ever made and that we’ve ever made.”

“And I think we both were in agreement about that. I was super excited for it to come out. But I was also like, I want to keep this for myself. But it was one of those things that I…because I loved it so much, because Finneas (her brother) and I really, you know, specifically tried to make an album that we would have made even if no one would ever hear it,” the Lovely crooner further mentioned.

Explaining the thought process behind the album, Billie Eilish mentioned, “We tried to make an album we would love, and not for the outside world necessarily, but obviously, we were going to share it, but just more in a way of not trying to please or try to make something specific or do it for anybody but ourselves. And because of that, we made our favourite thing we’d ever made.”
