Ethan Slater's ex Lilly Jay opens up about co-parenting post-divorce

Ethan Slater's ex-wife, Lilly Jay spoke for the first time following their divorce in September.

Writing down a personal essay for The Cut, the psychologist shared some insights into her current relationship with the Wicked star, as they parted their ways while Slater was filming for the movie.

The former couple, who share a 2-year-old son, are currently putting their child first in their partnership.

"While our partnership has changed, our parenthood has not," Jay penned, adding, "Both of us fiercely love our son 100 percent of the time, regardless of how our parenting time is divided."

"As for me, days with my son are sunny. Days when I can't escape the promotion of a movie associated with the saddest days of my life are darker," the mom added.

It is pertinent to mention that five years after tying the knot Slater and Jay finalized their divorce on September 12, as per TMZ.

Earlier this year, the Spamalot actor started dating his Wicked costar Ariana Grande, after his breakup with Jay.
