Princess Eugenie and Beatrice joined their uncle King Charles for pre-Christmas lunch at palace after their father Prince Andrew decided to pull out of the major events.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Andrew pulled out of pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace amid the 'spy' scandal.

The duke will also not attend the royal family's Christmas celebrations at Sandringham next week.

The report claims the Duke of York made the big decisions after speaking to ex-wife Sarah Ferguson who 'advised him not to attend.'

Following Prince Andrew's decision, his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie broke their cover by attending King Charles lunch.

As per the Daily Express, Beatrice sat in the passenger seat while husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi drove them to the party.

Princess Eugenie was also seen in a separate car with her husband Jack Brooksbank.
