Cynthia Erivo enjoys date night with girlfriend Lena Waithe

Cynthia Erivo was spotted enjoying with beau Lena Waithe at Gypsy's opening on Broadway.

As reported by Just Jarred, the Wicked actress and her longtime partner stepped out for the opening night performance of the new Gypsy production on Thursday night, December 19, at the Majestic Theatre in New York City.

For the event, Erivo, who plays Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West in the musical adaption of Broadway play, kept it casual as she wore a white shirt and faded light blue jeans which she carried with a grey long-coat. 

Her girlfriend, on other hand, donned a black shiny leather jacket and plain jeans

Cynthia and Lena’s appearance together comes after they both opted not to pose together at Out Magazine's Out100 Event which was held at NeueHouse Hollywood earlier this month on December 12.

The British actress has been quietly dating The Chi creator for almost four years.

Erivo and Waithe, also known best for her role on Master of None, have never confirmed their relationship, however, they have reportedly been dating since around 2020.

Moreover, they have made many event appearances together.

As per Variety, Waithe and Erivo were introduced at the 2018 Met Gala.
