Finneas has dished on his reason for parting ways with Billie Eilish to focus on his music career.
During a conversation with Therapuss podcast, he candidly talked about leaving behind his sister’s tour to start his own solo tour For Cryin' Out Loud!
“It’s been very bittersweet,” Finneas, who accompanied Billie Eilish nearly her entire career, began by saying.
The 27-year-old singer continued, “I only decided to do it because I knew that I couldn’t be in two places at once. I can’t do my own tours and her tour at the same time, and I don’t want to prevent her from touring as much as she wants to tour.”
“And then the sweet part has just been I’ve seen the show a few times and it’s amazing. I think her show is incredible. It doesn’t suffer at all because I’m not there.”
There, he referred to the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour of Billie Eilish, which started from September 29, 2024 and concluded on July 27, 2025.
“She’s great, and I’ve come out and done a song or two, but I really think she’s doing the best show she’s ever done. So that’s lovely,” the Nobody Like You singer lauded.
Moreover, Finneas shared insights into his relationship with his sister and continued, “I call her constantly. You know, a lot of the time she’s just kind of being an athlete and resting and doing physical therapy and stuff like that.”
“I just make sure she’s doing okay. I’ve always said, leading up to it and since she left, ‘If you ever need some company, I’ll jump out and just come hang out with you, keep you company on the road,’” he concluded by saying.
Finneas tour For Cryin' Out Loud! Is scheduled to be started from January 07, 2025 and wrapped up on May 09, 2025.
