Sydney Sweeney starrer 'The Housemaid' film gets exciting update

The Housemaid, a psychological thriller starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried has received an exciting update.

The upcoming thriller movie, as per Variety, has gotten a release date.

Helmed by A Simple Favor director Paul Feig, the movie is based on a famous novel by by Freida McFadden of same name.

According to the publication, Rebecca Sonnenshine is adapting the screenplay of the suspense film.

Apart from the Anyone But You actress and the Blink Twice star, who also serve as one of the executive producers of the project, The Housemaid also stars It the Ends With Us actor Brandon Sklenar, and the 365 Days actor Michele Morrone.

The plot of the forthcoming movie revolves around a struggling young woman named Millie, played by Sydney, who is relieved to get a fresh start as a housemaid to an upscale, wealthy couple Nina, played by Amanda and Andrew, played by Brandon.

She soon learns that the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own.

The Housemaid will release in cinemas next year on Christmas Day.
