Prince Andrew apparently took a major step to save King Charles from fresh ‘public humiliation’ following new scandal related to UK’s national security.

This has been claimed by a royal expert after Prince Andrew decided to skip the traditional pre-Christmas royal lunch at Buckingham Palace.

Royal expert Sarah Louise Robertson told GB News that Andrew and Sarah decided to "keep a low profile" to save King Charles from fresh "public embarrassment."

The royal commentator said, "Sarah Ferguson herself said, let's not make any protests, keep our heads down, let's not bring further embarrassment and cause trouble to the King and to the rest of the Royal Family.

"Given obviously what's unfolded over the last week, further embarrassment that Andrew's heaped on the King and the Royal Family, they decided that they should keep a low profile," Robertson further said.

Andrew decided not to attend the pre-Christmas lunch at Palace. He will also not attend the royal family's Christmas celebrations at Sandringham next week.

The reports claim the Duke of York made the big decisions after speaking to ex-wife Sarah Ferguson who 'advised him not to attend.’
