Anna Richardson has called her legal battle with Arnold Schwarzenegger over accusations of groping in 2000 both "traumatic" and "transformative."

For the unversed, The TV presenter sued Schwarzenegger after claiming that he touched her breast during an interview on the ITV show Big Screen in 2000 when he was promoting his movie The Sixth Day.

However, the 77-year-old actor denied the claims, and both parties settled the case out of court in 2006.

Now, while having a conversation with The i Paper and reminiscing over the incident, Richardson said, “It was a terrible, traumatic event in my life, but it was also transformative and life-changing.”

She went on to confess that it was a “huge risk” to take him to court, explaining, “I’m glad to say that after three years, we settled out of court, literally on the steps of London’s High Court.”

“If I’d lost, I would have been bankrupt. Without question. I would have lost the flat I co-owned with my partner. It was a huge risk, but I was absolutely determined,” the 54-year-old concluded.

It is pertinent to mention that on the professional front, Richardson has hosted shows on Channel 4, such as Secret Eaters, Supersize vs Superskinny, and The S**** Education Show.

Notably, she is now serving as the host of Naked Attraction and Changing Rooms.
