Timothee Chalamet explains what makes him feel like a 'arrogant prick'

Timothée Chalamet just gave insights into award season!

The Wonka star has answered a rather unique question of what an actor does to their prepared acceptance speech if they don’t actually win the award they are nominated for.

During the 28-year-old actor’s latest appearance on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mashup, in order to promote his upcoming and highly anticipated biopic on Bob Dylan, titled A Complete Unknown, Chalamet was asked if he writes his award speech beforehand.

"What a great question 'cause like you said, this is my fourth Golden Globe nomination," the Dune star said.

He continued, "Look, I'll just say this... there's nothing more uniquely hilarious and something you cannot share with anyone when you get home and you tear up the little thing that you never had to use and you think to yourself, 'You narcissistic arrogant prick. On what planet did you think you were gonna use this?'"

In context to the conversation Timothee Chalamet had, he has received nominations for his performance as Dylan in the upcoming Golden Globe Awards as well as the Critics Choice Awards, both events to be held in January 2025.

Previously, he has earned Golden Globe nominations for his roles in the films Wonka, Beautiful Boy and Call Me by Your Name.
