Timothée Chalamet reveals 'favourite thing' about his upcoming film co-star

Timothée Chalamet, fresh off his fourth Golden Globe nomination for portraying Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, is opening up about working with his co-stars amid this year's award season.

Portraying Dylan’s early days as an enigmatic 19-year-old arriving in 1961 New York City, revolutionizing American music, Chalamet shares the screen with Edward Norton as Pete Seegar, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, and Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo.

As per DailyMail, reflecting on this collaboration, the Wonka star said at the Los Angeles premiere, “Edward and I were always trying to sneak stuff in to honor these amazing artists. My favorite thing about Edward is his commitment to preserving the pure values of the story, even as we promote the film.”

Additionally, during an interview with SiriusXM, Chalamet, who previously earned nominations for Call Me By Your Name (2017), Beautiful Boy (2018), and Wonka (2023), got candid over how he handles loss after being nominated for an award. 

In regards to this, the 28-year-old star remarked, “There’s nothing more uniquely hilarious, and something you cannot share with anyone, than when you get home and tear up the little thing you never had to use. And you think to yourself, ‘You narcissistic, arrogant prick. On what planet did you think you were going to use this?’” while reflecting on the unused acceptance speech notes.

Furthermore, A Complete Unknown that marks another milestone in Timothée Chalamet’s career, is set to premiere on December 25, 2024.
