Mariah Carey shares 'cute' lesson she got from son

Mariah Carey now knows how to play Fortnite, all because of her son Moroccan.

"I was watching my son play Fortnite for the longest time, and then he taught me how to play," the Fantasy singer told People. 

"It's been cute little excursion figuring out if we were going to be able to do this [Fortnite collaboration] or not."

It comes after the Grammy winner has collaborated with Fortnite on its Christmas special edition, Winterfest.

"My Fortnite character is basically me with some different outfits, skins," the 55-year-old said. "I'm so excited about this. It's really cute."

Mariah also weighed in on the future of her holiday shows, "I really love doing it, I just need to schedule it a little bit differently because this year I'd gotten sick just from being out there too long."

Elsewhere in the interview, the mother-of-two reflected on doing "another slow, sad song" for the holidays.

"I'm in Aspen, and right now, 'Oh, Santa' is playing over the speakers. And I'm like, 'I guess I'm not sick of it,'" she hilariously said.
