Lala Kent, a TV personality and actress, recently got candid and revealed why the major overhaul of Vanderpump Rules would not occur.

For the unversed, Vanderpump Rules season 11 began months after Madix split from Tom Sandoval because of his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

Kent first supported Madix but shocked viewers in the finale when she broke the fourth wall and took aim at Madix for not filming with Sandoval.

The 34-year-old appeared on Amazon Live on Thursday, December 19, where she opened up about why she thought her breaking the fourth wall influenced the changes happening on Vanderpump Rules.

Articulating her thoughts, Kent said, “I do often wonder if I would’ve kept my mouth shut — like, if a producer wouldn’t have stepped in and told me that I’m allowed to say the things that I said off-camera about filming — if the show would’ve been able to go on. Or if I was just the final nail in the coffin. I guess we’ll never know.”

The Out of Death actress added, “I’ve spoken about this many times, so I apologize if I’m boring you,” and continued, “I felt like I started mourning Vanderpump Rules the moment I purged on that finale. So not only did I know it was coming to an end after that, but I feel like the moment we started filming season 11, it was going to be the last.”

“It just felt like there was nothing — it was broken. It was very broken. So I feel OK with it. I feel very much at peace,” Kent remarked.

The reality star concluded by claiming that she “was not upset about her time on VPR ending.”

It is noteworthy to mention that Bravo announced the renewal of Vanderpump Rules season 12 with a completely new cast in November this year after a transient break.
