Normani has promised her fans a "whole new body of work."
The Fifth Harmony alum, 28, gave the teaser in a Rolling Stone interview, hinting at a follow-up to Dopamine, a debut solo album she released in June.
Dopamine came packed with singles Wild Side, 1:59, and Candy Paint.
“Putting lots more music out, festivals, and a tour. Leave it to me to put out a new album too, a whole new body of work," the R&B star spilled to the publication.
"I promised I wouldn’t make you guys wait that long anymore! I’m just putting things out and moving more this year, as opposed to preparation.”
The pop star also revealed the inspiration behind her upcoming projects.
“Life,” she replied. “I’m experiencing so much in such a short period that I feel like I have a lot to talk about. Dopamine was curated over four to five years, so it’s a lot of things that I had been through, but present day, I still have so much happening currently that I want to be able to talk about and share and get off just for myself.”
In July, Normani was faced with a controversy with Tayla Parx, who called her out for not crediting her on the album, despite saying she helped create the song ‘Insomnia’.
