Dave Coulier, actor, stand-up comedian, impressionist, podcaster, and television host, recently opened up about how he shared his cancer diagnosis with his Full House castmates.

While giving an interview to People magazine, the 65-year-old revealed that he found out he had stage 3 non-hodgkin lymphoma in October this year.

Coulier said he first noticed something was wrong when a respiratory infection caused his lymph nodes to swell, and after more tests, doctors gave him the life-changing diagnosis.

The Real Ghostbusters star quipped, “I went from, ‘I got a little bit of a head cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming.' This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.”

Although his wife Melissa Bring and son Luc have been supporting him during his cancer journey, Coulier has been relying on his Full House co-stars for support.

The To Tell the Truth singer told the same outlet that he shared his diagnosis with his Full House castmates through a group message.

The group included Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Scott Weinger, the show’s creator Jeff Franklin, and Lori Loughlin.

“I didn't want them to hear it from someone else, so I sent a text message out,” and added that the response he received “was immediate.”

The Won One crooner mentioned, “It was just this outpouring of, ‘I will be there. You just name the time, and I know you're in great hands with Mel, but what can we do?’ It really is overwhelming, the love that we have for each other. We've been there for so many years for each other, and it's pretty remarkable.”

“I think we value not only our lives together, but we value our lives. We value those good times and the positive moments that we've gotten to share. And I think that that spills over to other people, and it's just positive. There's (sic) not many negatives when I'm with that group of people. It's really just laughter and positivity, and we appreciate so much what we have in our lives and the people around us,” Coulier concluded by saying.

It is pertinent to mention that Dave Coulier, the Full House star, is having treatment now and hopes to be in remission after finishing chemotherapy in February 2025.
