King Charles ‘heartbroken' as Royal family feud escalates before ‘special' Christmas

King Charles reportedly wanted to have a special Christmas following a brutal year marred by his and Kate Middleton’s shocking cancer diagnosis.

However, his celebrations would be incomplete without the presence of his “darling boy” Prince Harry and his grandkids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

To add to his woes, his brother Prince Andrew has also backed out of Christmas celebrations after it was revealed that he has alleged ties with a Chinese spy.

According to a former royal staff member, Grant Harrold, the monarch is a "family man" who values unity and would have preferred to have everyone together for the holiday.

“I think if he [King Charles] had the choice, he’d definitely want everyone together,” the former Royal butler told Fabulous. “He’s very much a family man.”

“I remember Christmases with the boys and him,” he added. “They were such nice times. They were very close, and it all just went so nicely.”

“The King’s family is a lot smaller than the Queen’s, and family is very important to him. I’ve said this a hundred times—part of him will be sad about what’s taken place,” he added. “Christmas is seen as a time for families to heal rifts.”

He went on to speculate that Charles might give a video call to Harry and his kids to wish them on Christmas.

“Even if they’re not there in person, just talking on Zoom or something can be part of that healing process,” he said. “Of course, it’s not the same as being in person.”

“There’s no question there will be some sadness about them not all being there.”
