Felicity Jones shared a most relatable parenting reason for why she doesn't get out much.

In a recent chat with People, the 41-year-old actress talked about her recent Golden Globe nomination, and her new historical drama The Brutalist.

During the conversation, Jones candidly discussed why she spends most of her time at home these days.

“I have two very young children who like to keep me very firmly indoors,” she told the outlet.

Jones revealed that she goes to bed early so that she can wake up at the earliest.

“So when I have the opportunity, I do like to go out, but a lot of the time, I’m in bed by 9 o’clock so I can be up at, like, 4:30 a.m. the next day," she added.

It is pertinent to mention that the Jones shares two kids, a son and a daughter whom she welcomed with her husband in 2020 and 2022 respectively.

Moreover, The Oscar-nominated actress recently received her Golden Globe nod for her role as Erzsébet in The Brutalist.

Sharing that she is as ready as she can be, she expressed her feelings for her milestones saying, "You don’t want to get your hopes up,” she said. “So you just try and reassure yourself. You’re like — every step of the way — ‘This is great. Where [the film has] got to is great.’ And everything else will be the cherry on the cake.”
