King Charles iii takes first step into giving up the throne

King Charles has seemingly taken his first step towards actually planning to hand over the Kingship to his son and daughter-in-law.

This has come via an insider who recently sat down with Woman’s Day.

This insider explained the entire situation rather candidly and was even quoted saying, “It’s not just William who’s been taking private meetings with the King, but Kate too.”

“She and Charles had a private meeting about her stepping up sooner than expected,” the insider also noted.

For those unversed, this has come to pass amid reports that King Charles’ death plans are already being drawn up.

This also led the source to note just how close princess has become to her father-in-law.

Reportedly, “As you’d imagine, the relationship between the two of them is incredibly close and they’ve been a huge source of comfort to each other through their side-by-side battles against cancer.”

“It’s also why Charles has taken great pains to give her plenty of space to recover for the inevitable moment that he and Camilla pass on the baton,” the source also noted before signing off from the conversation.
