It appears that Hugh Jackman's children are struggling to adjust after their father's involvement with Broadway star Sutton Foster.
An insider told Woman’s Day that Hugh’s children, Oscar and Ava, are getting used to their father's relationship with Sutton after his split from Deborra-Lee Furness.
The source said, “It’s been hard for the kids, having to welcome Sutton into their father’s world with their own mixed feelings about it, while at the same time feeling guilty if they get too close.”
It was also shared, “It’s all getting a bit messy, but Hugh’s hoping time heals all wounds, so if they can get through this holiday season without any big blow-ups, they’ll be in smoother waters coming into the new year.”
Reports also claimed that the 56-year-old father of two has met Sutton’s seven-year-old adopted daughter, Emily, saying, “Hugh has met Sutton’s daughter Emily—she even calls him ‘Uncle Hugh’!”
The source concluded by articulating that Deborra-Lee is “seething with rage” about being “the last to know” about the relationship.
“Deb feels blindsided. She has a memory like a steel trap and isn’t afraid to use it. Deb feels cheated by all three because someone could have told her what was happening, and they all chose to keep their mouths shut," the insider said.
Notably, the Greatest Showman actor is spending the holidays in Australia with his children, but it is not known if Deborra-Lee will join them.
On the other hand, Sutton is in Los Angeles, performing in Once Upon A Mattress.
It is pertinent to mention that Hugh and Sutton’s relationship caught public attention after their roles in The Music Man on Broadway, where they played Harold Hill and Marian Paroo.
The pair was also seen together at the show’s opening night in February 2022.
