Anna Kendrick has recently recalled a fun moment with Justin Timberlake.

In an interview on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Kendrick shared a memorable story from the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, where she and Timberlake.

The duo, who voiced the characters Poppy and Branch in Trolls, performed a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors while promoting the animated film.

"We were both really sick," Kendrick said, adding that still they went ahead with their performances.

Speaking of Timberlake, she shared, "He's so sweet, and we were both really, really sick. But he is one of the great all-time pop recording artists."

"We did a very, very simple, version of 'True Colors,' and we just kept drilling it and drilling it and drilling it," Kendrick added.

The Twilight actress explained further, "Right before we were about to go on, he was just singing his part to himself and added in, like, 20 riffs or whatever. And I went, 'Are you gonna do it like that?' And he was like, 'No, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's fine!'"

Calling it a "bucket list thing," previously, Kendrick admitted that Timberlake's vocal ability left her in awe. She recalled telling him, "You still have access to so much of your voice that I do not have right now."

"But he was very sweetly like, 'No, no. It's going to be exactly how we did it. It's gonna be fine,'" she added.
