King Charles appears ‘nervous’ in new video as monarch celebrates Christmas

King Charles appeared “nervous” in the video shared by Buckingham Palace with preview of monarch’s Christmas speech.

In the video posted on the Royal family’s official social media accounts, the King appeared in need of "stability" as he celebrates Christmas without his son, Prince Harry, and brother, Prince Andrew.

Sharing her two cents on the video, royal expert Charlotte Griffiths pointed out how Charles is seen adjusting his tie and script, hinting at his nervousness.

In a conversation with People's Channel, Griffiths suggested that the Royal family is becoming more "Hollywood-savvy" in their approach as it seems like they are taking cues from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

"I've never seen a preview before. It's only a split second glimpse, but it is really interesting because it shows him looking, I think, quite nervous,” the expert said.

"He's adjusting his tie, he's got his hand on a plinth, almost like stability. And then he kind of he looks incredibly serious just before the camera starts rolling,” she added. “So I find it really interesting."

"They are getting more media savvy, we saw that earlier in the year with Catherine's video revealing about her chemotherapy - that was quite Hollywood-ised.

"Obviously they're just they're really starting to learn the ways, possibly even from California - maybe they're taking tips from Meghan and Harry."
