Beyoncé overshadows headlines targeting Jay-Z

Beyoncé performed during Netflix’s NFL debut on Christmas Day, providing more excitement than either game.

The Grammy winner rocked her hometown Houston crowd with an almost 13-minute performance on Wednesday after riding into her halftime appearance on a white horse.

She surprised fans by bringing out Shaboozey to perform Sweet Honey Buckiin and Post Malone joined her for Levii’s Jeans.

According to reports, Beyoncé Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment produced the show as part of a $60 million deal with Netflix.

Speaking about her payment for the halftime performance, Dan Ruchie, founder of Trapital, Told Andscape: "If we believe this to be true, then that's $20 million specifically for this (halftime) performance.

The stellar performance from Beyoncé comes at a time when her husband Jay-Z is caught up in a controversy involving Sean Diddy Combs.

Diddy and Jay-z are  accused of rapping a teenaged girl after a party. Jay-Z has denied the allegations.

Beyoncé seemed to have overshadowed the headlines about her husband with her performance.

Jay-Z was not presents as his wife performed during the game.
