Beyoncé halftime performance sees staggering viewership difference?

Beyoncé's NFL Christmas halftime performance reportedly saw a huge difference in viewership this year.

According to Daily Mail, the viewership of the Single Ladies singer’s performance, which was held at NRG Stadium in her Houston hometown, has dropped significantly as compared to last year.

Netflix revealed in a press release on Thursday, December 26, that over 27 million Americans tuned in live to watch the 43-year-old pop singer's 15-minute, eight-song medley, as per Nielsen.

Of that group, 24.3 million average minute audience were watching the football game.

However, the wife of Jay-Z amassed far more 110.8 million in 2013 when she headlined Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans alongside her Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

In 2016, she got even more, listing as 115.5 million, as per the publication.

Moreover, she was accompanied by her 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter to serve back-up dancer duties.

Beyonce also had Post Malone and Shaboozey join her on the stage.

The 32-time Grammy winner‘s Netflix halftime show will be available for all the giant streamer subscribers as a standalone special “later this week”.
