KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers on Monday claimed to have arrested killers of slain station house officer (SHO) Shafeeq Tanoli and district superintendent of police (DSP) Abdul Majeed in a raid carried out in Metroville area of Karachi.
According to spokesman of the paramilitary force, the accused identified as Shireen alias Ustad, Yar Rabbani and Akhtar, belonging to a proscribed outfit, have confessed their involvement in various acts of terror.
"Arrested terrorists were involved in collection of extortion, kidnapping for ransom and other crimes", spokesman said.
The paramilitary force has also seized weapons from their possession.
