Continued criticism on Prince Andrew has affected his daughters Princess Eugenie and Beatrice, a royal expert has claimed amid the duke’s rift with King Charles over Royal Lodge.

Speaking to the GB News, royal expert Gareth Russell talked about how the continued criticism surrounding Prince Andrew has impacted his daughters.

Russell said: “The speculation about Royal Lodge and Prince Andrew is continuing, and with that is coming an increased focus on his daughters.”

The royal expert continued, "That's why people are so interested in their movement in the Middle East."

Gareth Russell was talking about the York sisters recent trips to the Middle East this year.

He added, “A lot of what the Yorks are experiencing is coming down to public scepticism about his continued residency at Royal Lodge.”

Gareth Russell’s remarks came as Andrew and Sarah remained at Royal Lodge in Windsor for Christmas, while Princess Eugenie spent the day with her in-laws for the first time.

However, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi reportedly joined the royal family at Christmas Day church service at Sandringham.
