Lindsay Lohan recalls 'potentially tricky situation' before marriage

Even Lindsay Lohan gets “scared.”

The 38-year-old celebrity shared a time when she had meet her now-husband’s family for the first time and how it made her quite nervous.

Lohan, who recently returned to the screens for a new Christmas movie, Our Little Secret, mentioned how she relates to the movie’s character, Avery, who was really nervous when she was about to meet her boyfriend’s family.

However, the meet-up was definitely a success as the Mean Girls star tells Britain’s HELLO! magazine that she is rather “close” to her in-laws now.

“It’s always a potentially tricky situation. I remember being super-nervous when I met my husband’s family for the first time,” she recalled.

The Freaky Friday actress continued, “His mum is so great and she has all these gorgeous sisters, so it was a lot.”

“I was scared at first, but his whole family made me feel so welcome. They’re so sweet and we’re really close now,” she further told the outlet.

Commenting on her family dynamic, in conclusion, Lindsay Lohan also mentioned, “We’re one big family, which is so nice, especially at Christmas – but they’re always there if I need someone to turn to.”
