ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has taken notice of former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf fleeing from the premises of the court after his bail extension plea was rejected and his arrest was ordered.
In its detailed order the court summoned Inspector General Police Islamabad and sought a reply regarding what measures had been taken for the arrest of the former president. The IG has been further asked to provide details regarding what action had been taken against officers who failed to arrest the former president.
The detailed order further states that the confinement of judges came under terrorism and this charge should be added in the case.
Musharraf fled from the premises of the court on Thursday morning when his bail was not extended. He faced no resistance upon his exist from the court and departed to his farmhouse in Chak Shahzad with the aid of his security personnel.
