Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s marriage may not make it through the rape case.
The recent child rape accusation against Jay-Z, which enlists his pal Sean “Diddy” Combs as co-defendant, may push the Beyonce and the rapper toward a $2.6billion divorce, per Radar Online.
"Beyoncé has friends saying she should not only distance herself from Jay but leave him altogether," an insider told the publication.
"Beyoncé and Jay have kept an uneasy peace for the sake of their three kids and their careers. But this is becoming a bridge too far,” remarked the mole.
In the lawsuit, the anonymous woman claimed that Jay-Z and Diddy raped her at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000.
The Drunk In Love musician has denied the allegation in a statement and dubbed the claims "heinous."
This comes after the rapper’s request to disallow the accuser from remaining anonymous in the lawsuit was denied by Judge Toerres.
“Carter’s lawyer’s relentless filing of combative motions containing inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks is inappropriate, a waste of judicial resources, and a tactic unlikely to benefit his client,” she ruled.
“The Court will not fast-track the judicial process merely because counsel demands it,” she remarked.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z got married in April 2008 and welcomed three children Blue Ivy Carter, Rumi Carter, and Sir Carter.
