Cher is a mother of two kids. Now, she reportedly wants to become again. But at the age of 78, the megastar has a few options, adoption is one of them.

Sources say the spark of motherhood was ignited by her time spent with her boyfriend Alexander "A.E" Edwards' five-year-old son, Slash, which he shares with his ex-Amber Rose.

"She's telling A.E. it’s her dream in life to have another baby. She missed the boat on freezing eggs and hiring a surrogate, but adoption is something she very much would like to do," the insider told In Touch.

In the wake of the Believe hitmaker's alleged wish to become a mother again, her attempts in the past to ease tensions with her biological sons were reported, which included a previous legal battle with her son Elijah over conservatorship.

It came after the Grammy winner was having problems with her boyfriend.

“Cher says she’s doing this because she misses them, but everyone suspects she wants to make peace because she’s worried her relationship with A.E. won’t last, and she doesn’t want to face the end of her life totally alone,” the source told the outlet.

“Cher now has a chance to make peace with her sons,” the tipster concluded. “But she’s not out of the woods with them yet!
