Home Alone co-stars still remain close friends, over two decades after the film was released.

Daniel Stern, who famously played Marv Murchins, revealed that he and Joe Pesci, famed for his role of criminal Harry Lime in the film and its sequel, still make time for each other.

Speaking with PEOPLE magazine, Stern said, “I see him once a year,” adding, “I love seeing Joe. [He's a] dear friend.”

He recalled meeting Pesci years before Home Alone, saying, “We did a really bad movie together called I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can, where we played mental institution [patients].”

Although the pals “got cut out of the movie” they remained close to each other ever since.

Stern said, “One thing I love to tell people about Mr. Pesci is if you really want to know who he is, listen to his music. He is the most brilliant jazz singer.”

“He's got this beautiful tenor voice. I mean, he makes me weep when he sings these kinds of Sinatra songs,” he added further.

It is worth mentioning that both of the Hollywood stars have chosen life away from the spotlight.

Stern currently lives on a California ranch while he revealed about Pesci that “He lives back in Jersey half the time.”
