Meghan Markle makes major decision for Archie, Lilibet amid Christmas invitation from UK

Meghan Markle made a big decision for her children Archie and Lilibet despite invitation from UK to celebrate Christmas there.

According to reports, Harry and Meghan enjoyed a quiet Christmas in California with Archie and Lilibet despite reports they were invited to spend the festive season with the duke’s mother Princess Diana’s family in the UK.

In California, the royal couple reportedly enjoyed the day with Meghan’s mother Doria at their Montecito home.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward has claimed, “Harry and Meghan were invited for Christmas at Althorp with thrice-married [Princess Diana’s brother] Uncle Charles, now Earl Spencer, but decided to stay in California.”

She said, “Meghan says it’s important for her that Archie and Lilibet can have ‘connective memories’ of Thanksgiving and Christmas at home and enjoy the traditions like putting out ‘carrots for the reindeer.”

Meanwhile, according to a report by OK! the duke remains close to Princess Diana's relatives, but Meghan seems to prefer spending her time on the West Coast.

Meghan Markle has not returned to England with Archie and Lilibet since 2022.
