Andy Cohen, co-host of CNN's New Year's Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper, has revealed the most annoying part of the gig.

Speaking to People magazine, the 56-year-old TV host talked about working with his long-time friend Cooper, his love for radio, his holiday plans, and what he finds "annoying" about hosting CNN's New Year’s Eve Live with Cooper.

Cohen quipped, “Well, [it’s] that I have to be the straight guy. Literally, he's in a puddle of giggles for the last 90 minutes of the broadcast, and I'm the one that's hitting all the commercial breaks.”

He added, “I kind of turn into Mr. CNN for the last 90 minutes, and he turns into Mr. Bravo. It's a very funny role reversal.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum’s comment came after Cooper shared his biggest pet peeve about hosting the NYE show on Cohen’s show, Watch What Happens Live.

“Just who he's gonna insult and what the clean up on aisle 3 is gonna be in the morning,” Cooper stated.

For the unversed, the 60 Minutes star’s above-mentioned comment refers to a 2021 incident.

In that year, Cohen claimed that he was given too much alcohol during the live event, which led him to insult Ryan Seacrest’s New Year’s show on ABC.

He took a jibe at the show, calling it a “group of losers,” which eventually caused trouble the next day.

However, a few days later, Cohen spoke about the incident on The Howard Stern Show, saying, "I really like Ryan Seacrest, and he's a great guy, and I really regret saying that, and I was just stupid and drunk and feeling it."

It is pertinent to mention that this will be the eighth year in a row that Cohen and Cooper are hosting the CNN special.
