Kate Middleton finds new meaning in Royal duties after major illness

Kate Middleton is said to have found a new meaning in her Royal duties as she sees her job as “service” to the people.

According to a close pal of the Princess of Wales, Kate has changed her outlook on life after going through a “brutal” year following her cancer diagnosis.

Speaking with Closer Magazine, the friend of Kate said this Christmas was a “really special time” for the mother-of-three, who recently completed her preventative chemotherapy.

“It’s a really special time for Kate because she remembers how she felt at Christmas last year, and it’s been a complete 180,” the pal told Closer Weekly.

The friend revealed that Kate took help of her kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, to make special treats for her neighbours before Christmas.

They further shared that Kate’s illness has changed her perspective on life. “Now she sees her job as ‘service’ to the people in an even greater light,” said the friend.

“Kate does charitable projects with the children, but she tries to keep a low profile,” explained the friend, “so that it’s not about them and more about the people they’re helping.”
