More so, big superhero franchises such as Marvel and DC will give each other a run for their money.

Not to mention, multiple much-anticipated sequels and a score of animated, live-action remakes films will likely make new records at the box office.

Here are the top 10 most anticipated movies of 2025

Captain America: Brave New World (Feb. 14)

After delivering a dud for a while, MCU is betting high on Sam Wilson - who has big shoes to fill in as Captain America - as he sets to take on a mighty Hulk (Harrison Ford) but not the green one.

Snow White (March. 21)

Disney continues to tread on the path of remaking animated films into live-action. For the latest, the studio has the best film to offer from its vast library: Snow White. 

Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning (May 23)

Will the risk-taker Ethan Hunt, played by Tom Cruise for nearly 30 years, hang his hat in the eighth installment? It's not confirmed. But what is confirmed is the promise of another pack of jaw-dropping stunts by him in the upcoming film.

Karate Kids: Legends (May 30)

In the universe of Miyagi-Do, anyone from the past can pop up in the present to give a knock-out surprise. This time, Jackie Chan's Mr. Han will be joining hands with Ralph Macchio's Daniel La-Russo to train a new prodigy.
