Zac Efron shares exciting update about A24's new project

Zac Efron recently updated his fans about his new project by A24, a creator behind wresting drama The Iron Claw.

The A Family Affair actor took to Instagram and informed his 61 million followers that he just wrapped up shooting a A24 movie.

“Just wrapped another a24 movie and done for the year,” the 37-year-old actor wrote, and then wished “Happy New Year” to everyone.

Titled as Famous, the film will star Efron in dual roles, playing both overzealous fan, Lance Dunkquist, and Hollywood heartthrob, James Jansen.

The forthcoming movie follows Dunkquist, who has one asset that’s about to change his life as he has the face of a movie star named Jansen, a Hollywood icon.

Lance is about to travel to Los Angeles to make his dream come true and become famous, no matter what it takes.

Famous is based on the acclaimed novel by New York Times-bestselling author Blake Crouch and is adapted for the screen by Chad Hodge.

The upcoming thriller movie will be directed by Jody Hill and Michael Sagol, and produced by Sam Esmail and Chad Hamilton.
