Royal family releases King Charles new video

The royal family has released King Charles new video where in the monarch recalls a special childhood memory ahead of his mother late Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation in 1953.

The video clip is from upcoming documentary about Queen Elizabeth´s crowning ceremony, the Coronation Girls.

The palace shared the video saying, “The King recalls a special childhood memory ahead of his mother’s Coronation in 1953…

‘Coronation Girls’, a new documentary which aired this Christmas in Canada, follows a group of 50 Canadian women who attended the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation as 17-year-olds.

“In 2023, twelve of them made a return to London, where they were surprised with a special tea at Buckingham Palace with The King,” the statement further reads.

In the video, the king is heard saying, "I remember it all so well then, because I remember my sister and I had bath time in the evening.

"My mama used to come up at bath time wearing the crown to practice. You have to get used to how heavy it is."
